Contact Information Service Terms of use These Terms of Use govern the use of the "Contact Information Service" application (hereinafter "CIS") of Volkswagen AG, Berliner Ring 2, 38440 Wolfsburg, Germany, entered in the Commercial Register of the Braunschweig Local Court under No. HRB 100484 (hereinafter "Volkswagen AG"). 1. Contents and availabilityCIS is accessible via various websites. The providers of these websites are Volkswagen AG and/or the respective partners of Volkswagen AG who are named in the imprint or the provider identification of a definable area (e.g. sub-pages) of the websites. All content on the Volkswagen AG websites has been carefully checked. Volkswagen AG makes every effort to ensure that the content of the Volkswagen AG websites is up-to-date and correct. However, no guarantee can be given for the completeness, correctness, up-to-dateness and constant availability of the web pages. Volkswagen AG accepts no responsibility for the content and availability of third-party websites that can be accessed via external links. Volkswagen AG also accepts no responsibility for the content and availability for such delimitable areas (e.g. sub-pages) of the websites whose providers are partners of Volkswagen AG. Volkswagen AG expressly distances itself from all content that may be relevant under criminal or liability law or that may offend common decency. 2. Property rights to the contents of the websitesWhen using the Volkswagen AG website, the copyright, name and trademark rights and other proprietary rights of Volkswagen AG and third parties must be observed. Usage and access authorisation for European employees of the Volkswagen GroupOnly European employees of the Volkswagen Group are authorised to use the internal area. Furthermore, only employees of the Volkswagen Group who have roles and rights for CIS via the User Resource Service (URS) are entitled to access. Furthermore, a UserID exist at CloudIDP. Login to the system is established via these two systems. The access authorisation is not transferable. Access data for using CIS may not be passed on to other employees or third parties or made accessible to them. Volkswagen AG reserves the right to withdraw this access authorisation at any time. This shall be the case in particular if the respective employee no longer works for the Volkswagen Group or if the employee violates these terms of use. Once the access authorisation has been withdrawn, the employee may no longer use CIS. 5. Authorisation of use and access for external service providersOnly those persons from external service providers who have been created in advance by an employee of the Volkswagen Group or who have already been stored in CIS are authorised to use the system. To gain access to your own professional contact data, you must enter your e-mail address under this link and request a temporary login link. This will be sent to the e-mail address provided and can then only be accessed once. Please do not pass this link on to any third person. Otherwise, the accuracy of your personal data cannot be guaranteed. 6. Purpose of the applicationCIS is used for the cross-brand, central and DSGVO-compliant storage and management of personal, professional contact data at the work level of logistics service providers of Volkswagen AG. The business contact data is then made available for a specific purpose within Volkswagen AG so that the logistics supply chain can be maintained through professional contact. 7. Responsibility of Volkswagen AG, liabilityVolkswagen AG is not liable for the content of third-party websites. Volkswagen AG shall be liable for all claims for damages and reimbursement of expenses due to a breach of duty for which it is responsible on the basis of the application in the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual duties, whereby liability shall be limited to the typical and foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability for slightly negligent breaches of duty is excluded. The above limitation of liability shall not apply in the event of strict liability and for damages due to injury to life, limb or health or under the Product Liability Act. 8. Final provisionsVolkswagen AG reserves the right to amend these terms of use in a manner that is reasonable for the authorised user and only with effect for the future. The authorised user will be notified of any changes to the terms of use by means of a message when logging into the application. The authorised user must observe the respective current version of the terms of use. Should one or more provisions of the Terms of Use be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of these Terms of Use. In such a case, the invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose pursued by the invalid provision. The same applies to loopholes in the contract. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all claims arising from or in connection with CIS shall be the court responsible for Volkswagen AG.
